Miami QB requests release from scholarship

Miami will begin next season without any quarterbacks who have thrown a pass in a college football game.

Kirby Freeman, the only returning veteran from the Hurricanes' 5-7 season, has requested a release from his scholarship, according to multiple UM sources, and is looking to possibly transfer to a school closer to home in Texas.

He is expected to be granted the release.

Rivals 4 Star 5.8 RR, in 2004. #6 Dual Threat QB. Rivals also says 4.5 in the 40.

So he has 2004 (RS), 2005, 2006, 2007, and senior year remains. If he goes Div 1A, he is done. He only has one year of eligibility remaining and he would have to sit it out.

Then he was in a coma for a year.

The Rivals I looked at showed him to be a Junior in 2007.

No. He has to go Div 1AA or lower.

And please don't anyone correct me with the proper terminology. I am too old to learn otherwise.

I will do better... it is a combination of the [deleted] whip that is this coaching searching, the bronchitis, sinus infection, and lack of sleep. 2008 is going to be the year of the Mustangs and we will all be in a much happier place.
