Look around at our competition - even TCU has an indoor facility. Heck, Southlake Carroll has an indoor facility.

If we build it, June will stay.

I say JJ calls a team meeting and get this thing started. Whether players are at home or whereever, get here and ger here now! Weight room is open 24/7 with Vic doing his thing. We need to start culling out the zeros and start preparing some heros. This rest is BS right now. We have to get started with winning games. Turner and company will take care of indoor crap and crap like that.

Huh, so should it be Jamaal Charleses? I thought you can use apostrophe to avoid misreadings with plurals, such as:

"don't forget to dot your i's and cross your t's" or "remember these do's and don'ts" or "A's are the highest mark you can get"

Maybe not, but I've seen the apostrophe used that way all over the place.

One of my pet peeves. Always has been. Much like people saying "heighth" instead of height. http://mark.tranchant.co.uk/notes/apostrophe

And which Pro team is he going to leave for us?

I meant "the Jamaal Charles' of the world", hence the plurality. Sorry, I guess I left that unclear leading you to assume I am an idiot. :D

Gotcha. Did not think you were an idiot, just uninformed and stupid. Oh, I guess I did think you were an idiot.

I'm a real stickler about language too, so I actually appreciate the critique. I agree that the correct form would be Jamaal Charleses, I added the ' to avoid confusion ("what/who are jamaal charleses?") and hint at plurality but in a technical sense that isn't correct. Consider the ' an omission of the -es and not a true signifier of plurality.

There were less than a handful of days that a indoor facility would have been beneficial this fall. If there is space and a willing donor then build it but I think there are other priorities. Priority No. 1 should be Moody Coliseum.

Yeah, I mean in regards to football competitiveness. And we are talking something that is a couple of years away, but it's the next step toward being seen as a big time program by Texas area recruits. It would definitely be difficult with our limited space...maybe we can put one in the basement of the Bush Library

If we had to build one, I think we could cram it in just east of the stadium where the parking lot for the dedman center currently is. Or, if we own the apartments just south of there/east of the stadium, we can tear them down.

We could knock down fraternity row and build it there. It might help improve their attendance at the games with no other place to go for partying!

Until we routinely put 30K plus in the stands, Ford doesn't need any additional seats. There are probably 20K of seats that have only been sat in a couple of times since the stadium opened.

The first move June should make is to move Willis to slot receiver and promote Rhoades. WIllis could possibly be another a player similar to TT's Crabtree.

Why don't you go on the Hawaii board and convince them like you have tried to convince us that new facilities are not worth the money. I am sure you can lead the charge at helping them attract a new coach with a run down football infrastructure. And then come back and remind us that you will not support SMU anymore as you did in the past.
