lightening admissions standards is facilities upgrades. Yes, we already have very nice facilities, but we are lacking in one area. We have no indoor practice facility. Look around at our competition - even TCU has an indoor facility. Heck, Southlake Carroll has an indoor facility.
If we build it, June will stay.

It would be nice but I think this is one upgrade that is NOT an absolute must at SMU and may be difficult due to limited space. There were less than a handful of days that a indoor facility would have been beneficial this fall. If there is space and a willing donor then build it but I think there are other priorities. Priority No. 1 should be Moody Coliseum.

100% agree.
Priority #1 is getting June Jones' signature on a contract.
Good point. I think 2nd priority is making the hire a "splash" in the media cycle. I say announce tomorrow if signs today. That way, there might be some mention of it during National Championship.

Totally agree
Went to USC's practice a few days before the Rose Bowl and was a little surprised with what they had. Their facilities were really nothing to write home about. Only 1 football field and then another that was 50 yards long. No indoor. Didn't see weight room or locker rooms. Now before anyone else says it, I know there is not much need for an indoor in Southern California but I thought it was interesting just the same. From what I say their facilities pale in comparrison to the vast majority of others I've seen.
I guess the simple fact of being USC and in socal is all you need their....seems to work pretty good.

The Cardinals demanded a new stadium and got it. They still lose. SMU doesnt need an indoor practice facility. Use the $ for recruiting or adding seats to Ford.

And which Pro team is he going to leave for us?
I meant "the Jamaal Charles' of the world", hence the plurality. Sorry, I guess I left that unclear leading you to assume I am an idiot.

Unless something has changed drastically in the world of grammar, an apostrophe indicates possession or a contraction, never plurality.
