I agree that we are getting more interest. I think its a combination of Coach Jones' arrival, the new attidude of the assistant coaches' recruiting efforts, and the excitement over a new era on the Hilltop.
September is getting closer... I am already starting to get amped up about the season. I cant wait to see the 08 Ponies.
You all will hear me screaming, thats for sure.

SMU Grad 1996 - Worked in SMU athletic recruiting office under Forrest Gregg and Bill Weidner from 1992-1997.
And Jordan Johnson and Anthony Sowe, who apparently drew raves from Coach Jones, and (DC) Tom Mason and (DL coach) Bert Hill - especially Sowe.SMU 86 wrote:Texasscout96 wrote:This guy is a BEAST. I remember watching him play in HS. Now he is even bigger.
In my opinion, its a good idea to sign JUCOs on teh OL and DL because they are the power positions and JUCOs are usually ready to go day 1.
Frazier will be a force on the interior of the DLine.
Just think guys..
2009 Defensive Line:
DE: Taylor Thompson
DE: Andrew Ellison
DE: Youri Yenga
DT: Marquis Frazier

Just add DT Torlan Pittman and DE Kevin Grenier to the depth chart and we are in very good shape.
