By the way. They beat TCU 22-1 and 16-0. So it could have been worse

but why kick them when they are down? do you also make fun of kids with down syndrome and beat 3 legged dogs? the smu hockey team is very talented, but they are college guys first. TAMU practices 15 hours a week. TAMU has their own rink on campus. TAMU had 4 coaches and 3 trainers. It's obvious TAMU puts a little bit more effort into hockey, where the SMU guys go out and have fun. I see nothing wrong with that.
I did my undergrad at A&M, and Im pretty sure A&M practices at Arctic Wolf, which is off campus.
If you check the A&M hockey team site, in the history section you will find that, for some time the team would drive to Houston or Austin to practice/play. It took the city of College Station building a rink for A&M to put any effort into the team at all.

My point was that they didnt have to share ice time with countless high school and junior programs in the dfw area. college station might have one team at each level, not 500

This is true.
Arctic Wolf is home to Texas A&M hockey...some aspiring figure skaters...and some cheap dates, but thats all I can think of.
