Can you run the numbers against the rest of the CUSA West? I would but I'm swamped. (Yes, Yes, if I were so swamped why am I on ponyfans? Because I'm an addict. Duh).

Wow, Willis and Sanders both became 2 inches shorter, guess JJ really chewed on them during their suspensions! Not to mention 2 inches could cost Sanders some draft positions, if he gets drafted at all.

Pretty sure his "secret" would have been figured out by the NFL before he gets drafted.

Well, Tulsa was first in CUSA West and Rice was second. So here are Rice's numbers vs. Tulsa and SMU

OL
Tulsa 6'2, 278
Rice 6'3.5, 281
SMU 6'3 279

DL
Tulsa 6'2.5, 261
Rice 6'2.5, 259
SMU 6'3, 283

Big doesn't equal good, small doesn't equal quick.

And good linebackers will always make a bad defensive line better.

Oddly enough, legitimate cornerbacks always make an entire defense better.

Of course. But everyone was talking as if our team was comprised of midgets. Well, we're clearly not on the offensive and defensive lines.

Dear lord please give this school a shot in the arm of win. It makes everything better. It's not that far from your favorite football team and the roof is open...

Look at past Hawaii rosters and you'll see even more guys under 6'. These are the types of players JJ recruits - quick athletic guys that work for his system that are overlooked by bigger programs. He's made it work in the past, guess we'll have to wait and see if these guys are any good.

Regardless of system, we could stand to get bigger at LB and OL/DL.

If you read ponyboy's posts it looks like maybe we are big enough for our conference. We just need to get better.
