No. It's probably not going to happen that way. Contrary to your uneducated opinion, he is a pretty good player and was probably going to make an impact with the Eagles this year.
He would be a pretty good addition to wherever he winds up, SMU, Duke, UVA or Rutgers.
You see not all D I players in crappy programs stink. There are some good ones in there. You just have to take the time to look.
Apparently, you didn't.

Exactly...and if he's got some speed, he would be a pretty scary OLB as well.

Kyle Russo

Why all the negative postings about Kyle Russo?
You guys are nuts!
After June Jones and the staff review Kyle's college game
tapes, I bet coach Jones will gladly welcome Kyle to SMU.
Kyle was 6-3, 231 out of high school, red shirt in 07.
Impressive resume, many state honors as well as DFW area honors.
After Kyles red shirt year, Kyle was in the line up, and preformed very well. IMHO, Kyle was one of the best DE's for NT last year. Takes on OT's, good escape techniques, and faster than you think. Kyle played against
many very good football teams with very good OL's last year.
Kyle blew up several zone read options last year by himself!
Kyle has completed 2 years of strength and conditioning, adding about
20 pounds of muscle.
Kyle is a very good D1 football player. If Kyle picks SMU, you will be
glad he did, as well as coach Jones!

At 6'3" and 251 Kyle can play DE.
Jay Moore, former Mr. Texas, has been training Kyle over and above team training.
Kyle's stats meet those required for the BIG12: bench 21 reps at 225 lbs; Pro agility 4.38; 40 yds. 4.78; plus he is on the Dean's List and is a red shirt Freshman. He would be an asset here at SMU, on the team and in the classroom.

He's a great kid. The kind you want representing your school. Oh, and he can play a little.

Considering that we had a 6'1 230 guy in there at DE last year, and he managed to get 6.5 sacks, I think I'll take my chances on the RS Freshman from up North. I don't know where they'll put him when he finally hits the field, but he looks like he could be an asset.

FOR THE LAST TIME, HE IS NOT 230. HE IS 251. FOOTBALL DEFENSE AND I ARE THE ONLY ONES RIGHT ABOUT THIS.
