Kyle Russo enjoyed playing for North Texas and his long-time head coach Todd Dodge the last two years.
But the more the sophomore defensive end thought about his future, the more he felt like he needed to transfer and find a school that better fit his long-term plans of going to law school.
Russo discussed those feelings with Dodge late last week and finalized his plans to transfer. Dodge gave Russo a release that will allow him to transfer to any school other than those in the Sun Belt Conference, of which UNT is a member.
“Leaving was tough because coach Dodge and I have been close for eight years, but I knew that with the career that I envision, I need a program that fits what I want to do and that is go to law school,â€

Subtext: NTSU blows. The only people in Texas that want NTSU to get a law school are the NTSU grads and the Thurgood Marshall graduates and faculty looking forward to the day when their school is not bringing up the rear of the bar passage rates.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Russo: Up for SMU
I heard he was 6'4 and 251. We watched him play at Southlake and at a few UNT games last year. Can he play? Yes. According to the UNT stats he lead the d line in tackles. SMU sounds like a good fit for him.
