Did anyone ever find out what his football background is? It seems like he is definitely more of a basketball player and should emphasize that over football. It's not like he's a 6'7 freak athlete like Hunt who is absolutely worth taking a chance on. Receiver is not a position of need anyway. I don't understand why we would give him a scholarship if he is clearly more of a basketball prospect( and may not have even played football). I hope I am proven wrong, but right now I question the logic of this. Best of luck to him

Pocono pony said it looked like June was the only one who could recruit basketball players. It is right there, you just have to scroll up a bit.

I guess I misinterpreted what xc was trying to say. Seemed like he was saying people were lauding Jones for recruiting a bball player. I did not see that in the thread. Maybe I just misunderstood his point.

None the less hope Hollyfield can hoop. I think any body that gets on the court consistently helps the team just through minutes of rest for the starters.
