Didn't spend a penny on the MB. It was Daddy's car 25 years ago and he gave it to me a few years back.
So to assuage your concerns, we traveled cheap and stayed in a nice resort hotel.

The strange thing is my daughters want to drive the MB to school all the time. I couldn’t figure that one out until I thought back to my day and how an old car got the boys’ attention.
