Re: 2010 DECOMMITMENT (Rivals)
actually I'm very concerned that the poor attendance last Saturday could only hurt us with out top recruits that did come-and there were some of our better recruits there. This week-geez you'd think we could get a nice crowd.

I'm backing off my earlier thoughts that Navy game would draw 25k. I think we will do well to see 20k. Texas/OU will hurt our attendance, methinks
Re: 2010 DECOMMITMENT
Navy fans have bought about 5000 tickets so far for the game according to today's Washington Post.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

so we had a walk up of almost 4,000. That's very encouraging.

Depends on how many were sold Friday but yeah, it is very encouraging to have a good walk-up crowd.

Re: 2010 DECOMMITMENT
Anyone know how many recruits were at the game? any impressions? Seemed like a good crowd and the game was exciting even though we didn't pull out a victory. Maybe some of these recruits can see where they could step in and provide the 'missing link' that we need.

Looks like there were many recruits at the game last night including from states like Arkansas and Lousiana and from far south as well.....Plano East guys and DeSoto guys also ( according to PonyStampede and Chad Robinson and I also saw letter jackets of those teams at the game..go to link to get all the recruit names or you may have to join to get the names).....it would have been hard for the recruits not to be impressed last night with all the dignitaries like President Bush, the F-18's flying by at just the right que, and of course MMM singing his only hit at half time.....it was an impressive display for all the sights and sounds and the after game team respect for each others song was very cool. Navy will become one of our great Game traditions.....
