These guys are hilarious!
If they are dumb enough to sue the James family, I hope they counter sue for false imprisonment of their son. Confined in a closed area without the ability to leave, not allowed a chair or to go the bathroom, makes a good false imprisonment case.
Honestly, the best PR move for Leach right now is to come out and say something to the effect of "I disagree with the reasons why I was fired, and the way in which it was handled, but out of respect for the university and the football program, I will not contest it."
At that point, he doesn't look like a bitter, angry SOB, and some other school that actually matters might actually take a chance and give him a job.
Bet the Pirate is wishing he'd taken one of those big $$$$ job offers last year. His stock just plummeted. He'll be lucky to get a job at some SBC school or FCS school. All that's left is the fight over the money between him and TT.

He could take over for Dodge at NTSU when they tire of his act. Minimum wage, though, I think.
Not a lawyer, Stallion, but I am with you. I don't see, read or hear anything from James other than the facts as he understands them. He has been complementary of TTU and Leach in what I have seen. And if Leach hit on anyone with a suit, he too would be exposed to discovery. And that could be a real problem for a class act like Leach.

"There is no question (Leach) understood offense and understood football. But he didn't understand how to deal with people. Everyone is excited about this to be honest. Adam (james) took a stand. We have no idea why he was in a shed. How could you punish a kid for having a concussion? What could that possibly accomplish?"
By choosing to spend four or five years in Lubbock, aren't all Red Raiders basically choosing to live in a geographical version of a shed?

Doesnt Leach get 400 k a year for the next several years? When you add that to the 250 K coaching salary North Texas pays Its not that bad!

In most cases, he stops getting the 400k (salary from previous school) if he takes another head coaching job. Thats how most contracts are worded.
Since he was fired "with cause" as of right now he won't see a dime of the 400k a year for the next 4 years.. It will be an interesting court battle over all of the $$.
he was still a great coach and most programs in the country would be lucky to have him. i would be surprised if he really ends up at a "North dakota state"
