For what is is worth, with all the work the Special Delivery, BUS, Old Pony, etc do at the season tailgates, I might suggest that we wait and see what the Mustang Club puts together and considering using them for tailgate. It is an early morning game and getting something together that early is going to be a strain on you guys at a time we need to be celebrating our Bowl game.
I know that SD and Bus especially enjoy the process but this is a tough one to put together and the circumstances will be a little different the way they are handling the spots. I will help any way that I can. I am arriving early and can be at the Blvd by 8:00 if needed, but I wish you all would consider taking it easy and enjoying the fruits of your season's labor by letting someone else cater to you.

Just "pony up" - everyone pitch in 50 bucks and hire a caterer. Its the first bowl game most of us have seen SMU play in 25 yrs....so live a little.

Let's see what the MC does. It will be early and lots of bloody mary's and Mimosa's. This is one game where I might like to sit in the Stadium Club for once

easiest way to keep breakfast items like
Egg McMuffins warm on the BLVD for a couple hours? With weather a factor we don't want to be cooking on the BLVD in late December. So I was thinking maybe the ease and economical costs of picking 40-50 Egg McMuffins/Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuits. But whats the best/easiest way to keep them warm for a couple of hours? Can you keep those warm in a cooler with some kind of heat packs?

Back in the day when we tailgated at Texas Stadium, we would make hot ham & cheese sandwiches. Since the sandwiches were individually wrapped in foil we would then put them in a PAPER bag and roll the top down. According to my Mom, paper bags were/are great insulators of heat---we would sometimes put a dish towel or two on top of the sandwiches to help w/insulation.

Sonic literally uses a space age insulated package for their breakfast sandwiches. It keeps heat in and cold out. Same material that is now being marketed to install in attics for radient heat resistance.

Bus or mrydel is there an electric outlet at the BusStop? If yes I could just run an extension cord and have a bread warmer.

We use chafing dishes to keep our Blvd goodies warm. You know, the kind with warming candles or sterno under them? Will be perfect for egg casserole and cheese grits!

Yeah PonyLove we have a couple of those at the office, I was just wondering how well they would work if it's really cold and the wind is blowing, but I guess at the point it wouldn't really matter anyway. I hope Dec 30 is a nice day, but a date like that has potential to be like nothing we have ever experienced on the BLVD or in Ford Stadium. Should be a blast regardless.
