Will the Vard be open like other home games? Will the team, band, fans have a walk down the Vard to the stadium?

Pony78,Bus, and my self have considered consolidating our tailgates for this event, even if the vard is closed.

We could be renegade tailgaters and just show up and pitch a tent.

On the AFB parking map, there is no parking on Bishop. It also looks like that the Wescott lot is going to be an events area. I have a parking spot in the Dedman III lot which is the lot on the east side of Ford on Airline. We could try to tailgate there.

I saw that map somewhere but can't find it on the site. Can you provide a link?

It is a map I received when I got my tickets and parking pass last week. It may be on the AFB web site.

I thought I read somewhere that they would be selling Bishop parking (I think for tailgating). Either way, I am pretty sure you do not get your season spot unless you pay for it again. So we need to find a place to set up as mustangbill67 has suggested.
If the Mustang Club has their normal set or some other type of gathering, it may be best to join up with them.

I am hearing thru the vine that the BLVD will indeed be open. Rumor is BLVD spots will be offered to the season reserved BLVD spot holders first. There may be a one game charge that would equal the price of whatever it works out to per game during the season. It will be totally optional for each regular BLVD spot owner. Have not heard what time the BLVD will open, but since the game starts at 11AM this may be the first Breakfast BLVD. Depending on weather I am thinking we will arrive for BLVD set-up in our regular spot around 8AM. Boy's it will be time for some kahlua coffee or mimosa's! Go Mustangs!

Re: What are the Boulevard Plans for the Armed Forces Bowl?
Anybody have ideas on what would be the best and easiest way to keep breakfast items like
Egg McMuffins warm on the BLVD for a couple hours? With weather a factor we don't want to be cooking on the BLVD in late December. So I was thinking maybe the ease and economical costs of picking 40-50 Egg McMuffins/Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuits. But whats the best/easiest way to keep them warm for a couple of hours? Can you keep those warm in a cooler with some kind of heat packs?
