Preston wouldn't be ready at this point. True freshman, learning the offense and not getting many reps. That said, it worked for KP in his freshman year building up to the bowl game.

We'll see you before we see Preston. Doubtful for Kaiser as well.

Keep in mind that BLM is playing against a bunch of FCS {Div 2} competition. As far as SMU and their continued struggles on offense I will say this; June is recognized by some of the best minds in football... college AND pro... for being one of the smartest offensive coaches in the game. His first year at Hawaii he inherited a team that was dead last in total offense the year before he arrived... 118 if memory serves... and they jumped to # 2 overall.
Why do they struggle here? Is it the players? Do they not want it bad enough? Are they not good enough? I know this much... and some may not want to hear it, but it isn't Jones. Play calling is always contingent on guys doing their jobs and making things work. Something needs to happen quick. Because 21 points for a R&S offense is just unheard of. I thought SMU would win tonight 40-17. To eek out a 28-17 win was a bit of a downer.
But a win is a win. And a home win, where you have to protect your house. They got it done. And... keep in mind... good team know how to win, even if it's ugly. Tonight was just that... but it was still a win. Much work to be done. JJ doesn't like to run the ball, but he has done so here because McNeal and now Line. What he really wants to do is throw it 60 times a game and rack up 450-500 yards a game passing.
When does that Georgia QB arrive? 2013??? Does Colt Brennan have any more eligibility left?

Better get a few WRs that can play while you are waiting for that Georgia QB. AJ Green types...

Yeah, Cause he's thinking about what a huge mistake it was when he took the job @ SMU..lol Nah i'm just messing, He sure did look bum about the performance of his team. They really need to step it up if they want another crack @ that CUSA title

He needs to do his part as well. Play calling was really poor in the second half. Couple of drives, he didn't help the offense.

idk what it is but maybe June Jones is slowly giving up? It seems like each year the QB performance has gotten worst instead of it getting better.

I told my wife that if I had to use one word to describe our offense it would be "constipated".
All the build-up, and nothing to show for it.

his play calling put us in jams we didnt need to be in constantly especially near our own end zone. June needs to step it up also.

This is year four of the June Jones era. These are his players. If they don't want it bad enough, it is on June.
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?
Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.

First time in many games where's I saw actual passion from jj, got on McDermott, line, and oline.
First 3 quarters it looked as if he was hoping the Hawaii express flight had an open seat.

When I saw the interview and heard him say he wasn't happy vith the offense, I thought well YOU are in charge of the offense. I have felt, many times, we look good in the 1st half but we look like we hope we can hang in for the 2 nd half.

Looks like he's tired of bad play and was expecting more this year
