I agree. I'm just guessing but I think before TCU got the invite to join the Big XII, it was driving them mad that SMU was being considered to join the Big East. Suddenly, SMU was about to be rewarded with membership to the same conference they had worked so hard to get into. And when we beat them two weeks ago that just sent Patterson over the edge. He lost it and lashed out at JJ, our players and our school.

I agree. They knocked us out of our lethargy. DFW now has two quality schools committed to winning at the highest level.

Having to accept a membership to the Big 12 must have been a real drag.
Obviously, they're pretty torn up about it. Who could blame them?

my son helps his high school off coordinator, and wears his SMU stuff to school sometimes, and a soph player told him he got something from SMU and he was so excited. I think we will have more h s players looking at us.

Yea,I know. TCU will be the new Baylor in the Big 12 and aTm will new the new Vanderbilt in the SEC.
