Never in my life would I think that a SMU football fan would choose early season hockey over watching an SMU game.

I know you're TIVOing it. But wow, hockey?!

I can't even go to a sports bar here in Toronto on Saturday because the Maple Laughs will dominate every screen.

But I'm hosting in Toronto if anyone wants to join.

You could go to Plano's 1st and 10. It's closer to Toronto than SMU, right?

First, I have had season's tickets to the Caps for almost 30 years. So a lot of loyalty over the years. Second, I was there to see the Red Wings skate the Cup around on Caps ice. So, this game has some special meaning for me. As I said, if we were playing some team like the Maple Leafs, I'd probably skip it. Third, at least until the Caps play the Flyers tonight, they're unbeaten so far this year as are the Red Wings. So, it is a very big match-up early in the season.
