It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. There's some video that a UCF media member took staring into our endzone seating that looks beyond sad...didn't get the home-side, missed the majority of the students...just sad. I was bracing myself for this being on TV, and based on past previous experiences with SMU appearances on ESPN, it wouldn't have surprised me.

and hey, who better to help get them that than our little buddy Steve-O. Getting his current and former teams into the BCS makes him the new Steve Pederson or Bill Byrne, golden boy of athletic directors. Front of the line for a return to South Bend.

could there be a back office deal in the works? we'll get you in now, help you get the ND job, if you'll steer ND our way in a couple years.

it just looks like a pre-game photo before all our fans piled into the stadium from the Boulevard.

At least they appeared to have the wrong helmet for USM too. They're equal opportunity morons.

Nobody should be surprised to see ESPN bashing SMU or any other CUSA schools. Remember that we just signed a new deal with Fox for our media rights. They did the same thing to the NHL when they went to VS. ESPN is a business, and they are going to pump up their own properties and belittle anyone who they don't have a contract with.

Don't understand why we don't steal some pages from Russ Pott's MustangMania manual & there wouldn't be any issues??? Oh well??? This isn't difficult but the administration is sure as heck making it that way!!!

But of course they'll always blame the fans instead of easily taking action on the great ideas of Russ Potts.

Don't care about the out of date stuff. Since when has ESPN giving a rat's rear end about SMU. Looks like we are moving into the world of relevancy.
