Here is what I see

We shot ourselves in the foot so many times

How many drive killing penalties did we have?
Did tulsa start farther back than their 40 yl?
Basic ball management was not there?
Realize we knew coming in kicking was our problem but wow? Did we get so spoiled to Morestead? Lets how Ganz is out there recruiting some kickers cause we need them
Tulsa's running back was big, so why were trying to arm tackle him?

Something is going on, you can't expect a defense to be on the field for as many series as they were and stop them. The offense has got to stop going 3 and out.

The problem lies squarely on the Quarterback and the passing game. (This was the problem late last year too). When SMU can't get a touchdown drive going, miss wide open receivers, and drop touchdown passes - that causes mental mistakes on Special teams and the defense trying to make up for the lack of offensive prowess. Does anyone think this team would be better with Keenum or Kinne? Of course you do. We'd be undefeated. The lack of innovative coaching considering the lack of a D-1 QB doesn't help. I am now relaxed and looking forward to a minor bowl game, since no changes are going to be made. I say we win 3 of the last 4 and have a good, not great, season.
