people may have thought 7-5 at the beginning - but anyone who says they didn't adjust their expectations upward after TCU is lying.

The really big egg we laid was Navy. I respect them, but we should have kicked their tales. Still not over it.

Hard to argue with any of that. Only thing I will add is that it might be a mistake to adjust those expectations after a big win like that because it was an upset after all. However, the Navy loss stings tremendously as I think we are a better team.

Next year I will demand long term weather forecast before making my prognostications to determine whether windy conditions will render our offense useless. As for TCU its at least worth noting that TCU's Offense outscored SMU's offense in regulation. The Ball bounces funny ways sometimes-McDermott dodged about 5 turnovers in the TCU game and was a hero
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

Good point...I remember the phantom INT that GP was screaming about and 2 others that Tank dropped and the other LB missed. Didn't he also fumble? I recall he finished under 50% completions in that game as well. He did get the win though.
