GO PONIES!!!
Well since the Sony Open in Hawaii is over tomorrow maybe he will be back Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

Take a deep breath, everyone. There are a lot of head coaches who don't do much recruiting except closing a few deals here and there, and if a hotshot kid needs is one conversation with the head coach away from committing, cell phones work in Hawaii, too. Whether June is watching golf in Hawaii or not likely doesn't matter. If he needs to talk to a kid, he can.

Actually he did say SMU University on one of the interviews. I heard it myself and kind of thought it was just a stumble of words. Don't think it was intentional just a stumble IMO.[/quote]
Well, my mistake then. Must have been cut from the ESPN3 replay.

Wow, I guess you don't believe in hitting it hard or home visits. Good try at spinning so I'll be waiting on your next spin post saying you are not spinning. Also, name a lot of SUCCESSFUL coaches that don't do much recruiting that are BCS coaches or that have lost as many recruits as we have? I guess I have stopped drinking the Koolaid.

The SMU University gaffe was during the BBVA Compass bowl trophy presentation. Not a big deal to me, but I did hear it in person. More of a humorous gaffe than anything to be upset about!

I don't think June does home visits.
Apparently not. At least not very much.

Washington State has all our former recruits visiting this weekend, our coach is in Hawaii. Who is doing it better?

We're better off without those kids. Too much baggage.
They might not qualify but thats not really the point. Our coaches are analyzing NFL games and hanging out on the 18th green while other schools are having giant recruiting weekends.

I have to agree with you on that Goldenstang.
