JJ is like honey-badger, he just doesn't give a crap about recruiting. The dead period is over, the current class a mere shadow of what it was several months ago and JJ finds it is more important to play golf than recruit. A show of real dedication to our university.

FWIW, he is not playing in the tournament. Merely a spectator.

Apparently Jeff Reinbold is spending the weekend covering the NFL Playoffs. He has quite a following

Relax.
This class is over. It will be a shadow of what it could have been, but I think next year will be the big one after we win CUSA and JP-JJ partnership will be a great thing for our program especially if we can keep them together for about 3 more years.

Him saying "SMU University" is a myth. Go back and look at it on ESPN3. He clearly says "SMU in Dallas, Texas."

I was always taught to finish strong or at last try to not give up. We still have 2 weeks to go and several spots to fill that need quality players. We need to be looking to the BE not CUSA. We can give it all we have for these last few weeks to try get to best of what we can get. I thought he would be out visiting as of yesterday really since Roundtree was pretty much a given that he would commit.
And just think some thought I was lying when I said he was going to Hawaii.

Actually he did say SMU University on one of the interviews. I heard it myself and kind of thought it was just a stumble of words. Don't think it was intentional just a stumble IMO.

Holloway will count against 2012, right?
Stallion, stop wringing your hands. This isn't changing. I've let it go. I don't like it but as he told us when he got here, "I do things differently."

Re: June Jones Playing in Hawaiian Sony Open
He did say SMU University but he has been making what seems like a conscious effort to say SMU in Dallas whenever he gets the chance. I've watched a bunch of his post ASU interviews and he seems like he is saying SMU Dallas a whole lot. It was just a stumble of words but it was funny/irritating non the less.
