I read an article a couple years back, which claimed the #1 predictor of wins was the total number of starts by a teams offensive line. Think this was in the Wall Street Journal, of all places. Hope it is wrong. I agree SMU's very experienced O line was not great last season, and QB play should improve this year. Also, If you read Phil Steele you know he is big on returning starters in his forcasts.
I guess the newcomers on the OL will dictate how next year goes. After 2-3 years in the program, we just have to hope these guys are ready to go
