Very true. I was beside myself on that 3rd down play, and was glad to see us go for it on 4th to continue to eat up the clock.

Ponyboy, look that seemed kind of arrogant IMO. I know you are a June to the death supporter and that is fine but I just thought he could have handled that question better and no to self serving. Not trying to rag on you but I was a little disappoint in how he answer that question that's all but I am very happy with the win.

wow, you are going to take that out of that statement? He was putting the blame on struggles on his shoulders, saying that by calling different plays, the players were allowed to play to their potential.

Interesting. I took it as June being very humble and shouldering the blame. Two sides of a coin I guess.

I never said he was responsible for global warming but at times you do come across as a June to the death supporter but to be fair you fair you do have times when you are objective. I have said that I think June will will just enough games to keep his job. I have also said that I think we can make it to a bowl game but I gave major doubts about winning conference.

That wasn't JJ taking the credit, as the explanation went on to clarify, it was JJ taking responsibility for not having been more aggressive in previous games. What he was trying to say was "the kids have been executing but I had not been giving them the chance to be as aggressive." I don't believe he was meaning to say that it was all him.

JJ said he did not think they were ready or something like that. But to be honest it looked about like any other game except they executed better. When the team loses it is because he get get out there and play for them and make plays but when they win big it is because of the play calling.

Man, we have a hell of a win, and people are already nit picking JJ.
I guess we all need something to feel better about.

I think another reason the offense was looking better is that they ran a lot more crossing routes across the middle where the DB was not between the QB and the receiver. Much easier to get the ball to the receiver in that situation than when using the fly route down the side line. Now then how about we get the O-line in a three point stance when down inside the five yard line?

Fun game to watch. The whole team was on a mission and played very well. Hope to see that continue the rest of the way...we know what they can do.
