Cumberland didnt actually play football that year. They had disbanded the football team after the previous season, John Heisman forced them to honor the contract in response to a thrashing that Cumberland put on their baseball team 22-0 (Heisman was the baseball coach as well, they also though Cumberland used some non-college professionals as well).
if i remember correctly, GaTech didn't even get a 1st down that game. i think they scored on the opening play of every drive.

I am sure its in another thread - Houston put up 96 on us, i was hoping we would get in the 80's. We needed every bit of those 72 to seal it.

I got back home just before noon today, and had no intention of going to work. But since several of my co-workers are UH fans who have been talking trash for the last few days, I have been strutting around the office all day and making them get me coffee. They haven't had the nerve to object.

It was actually 95. I know this because I sat and stared at that number in the Astrodome along with the 1,000 + yards prominently displayed. Longest bus ride home ever.
There was some justice levied last night.

My mistake. Wasn't it Notre dame that played us at home that same year? The infamous step out of bounds play?
