Like Forrest Gregg said, "The NCAA ain't got the guts..."
They've become a toothless tiger. And even if they gave Penn State a multi-year DP, that wouldn't effect a big state school nearly as bad as it did SMU. As soon as they permitted football again, they'd have 500 walk-ons wanting to try out as well as their scholarship kids.
