How do we know that this wasn't his choice. He has reached retirement age, probably misses California and his family there. I don't know, but he and June were supposed to be old friends. I think he did a great job with the players he had to work with and develop.

OL was technically far more sound then expected in 2012. He did a good job here, now he is gone, good luck and enjoy retirement coach Palcic.

I hear there's a good recruiting/line coach out at UCLA. Maybe he'd be interested in the opening.

For all we know, Palcic only agreed to come to SMU for one year because of the need to replace someone.
