You are talking about smu. right, Tide? We all know we have the only students who do this. Don't you keep up with this board?

Looking more and more like the key to our season and some better attendance is that Red-Raider game right out of the chute. Hope JJ can get 'em ready.

6/top 30 or 20% are 5 Star.
9/top 30 or 30% are 4 Star.
15/top 30 or 50% are 0 Star to 3 Star.

Unless we have some big wins over tech, atm, and tcu I really think our attendance is going to struggle. Outside of tech, I'm not sure that Montana state, Rutgers, temple, uconn, and UCF will draw more fans combined than Alabama's spring game. We have to start winning and give people a reason to come to the games. There's not going to be any "oh look- we might get a 6th win and become bowl eligible!" And we saw last year, with a great home schedule, that casual fans don't understand pivotal conference matchups. Lets make some noise by beating tech.

As a side note, I wish our bye week was before tcu and not a&m. That back to back on the road is looking pretty daunting, particularly when we have a&m (a not winnable game) first.

I'm hoping my Tide can beat the Aggies so badly in College Station on the 14th (which I'm going to) that when the Ponies get there (hoping to go back) the next week they are off their game. The Aggies are the target of Saban's chalkboard. Plus, last year having both of my school's get beat by the Aggies was brutal.

Because the SEC is so tough the teams in it usually only schedule one tough OOC game. Makes sense.
