Who started this damn Whiteout thing? Apparently we have to keep doing it now because it's turned into a "tradition." Here's a novel idea: let's do a "team-color-out." The SMU bookstore should at least have more than two or three non-TCU-game-related white SMU shirt options if we're going to do this every year. Went by yesterday and it's mostly red, royal, or navy. Call me a traditionalist, but the home team should wear solid jerseys and the fans should sport the opposite school color. White works for Penn State because it's one of their colors. Ford stadium is going to look like Spy vs. Spy playing chess.
Didn't the Athletic Department declare all Fridays during the season to be wear red Fridays? This whole whiteout nonsense never plays out the way they want so I really hope someone gets a clue sooner rather than later and lets it die.

So what colors are y'all wearing because I'm handing out tickets and telling people which color to wear..I've been advising blue but if we're going to do a white out for real (which is an idea I despise) then Ill tell everyone differently. White out... What a joke...

Just wear white, its stupid and sucks, but its already out there.....
We'll look silly if we don't support it, and its too important of a game. Use the appropriate channels to voice your displeasure with it and do it at the appropriate time.
Hint: The appropriate time is not protesting it at the game.....

Everyone wear white. Yes, it's a stupid [deleted] idea. Yes, there's apparently people in our athletic department who have no idea what the [deleted] they're doing. But it will look even worse on national TV for every SMU fan that doesn't participate.
