But I do believe there is an NCAA rule or guide that says you are to report if someone is offering you illegal benefits to sign. And even if there is not, I still say you ask the kid who it was. If he will not tell and will not saying his father is lying then the kid is ineligible until the truth is determined. This would be a way to get this kind of stuff to stop.
Yes, and we all know that this rule only applies to the Weber States, Middles Tennessee St, Toledos of College Football.

Whether you feel recruiting violations are commonplace in the NCAA today or not, the kind of cash reportedly offered to Seals-Jones and the accompanying details in Wetzel's article are too hefty to ignore.
Best line in the whole piece because we all know damn well that everyone is going to ignore the evidence when we are talking about major programs.
