I would be very embarrassed knowing we can't even stay on the field against mediocre big 12 teams yet we somehow are in a bcs game? Fortunately this scenario has a 0.0% chance of happening. Let's all just forget about this season already. When does bball start?Charleston Pony wrote:
as for the original message posted in this thread, the schedule sets up favorably for SMU by not having to play Louisville so the question is, would you be proud or embarrassed to be in a BCS game with a record of 9-3 or even 8-4? I think we would all acknowledge we were handed a gift, but I would still be very proud of these guys if they could pull that off.
I agree with 2007. No way we beat Rutgers or Cincy or UCF. They play "big boy" football. I'd bet Rutgers and UCF both would have beaten TCU AND TTU. They are simply, flat better than us very sad to say. I would LOVE to be proven wrong. This is a 4 win season unfortunately and it will be blamed on, "well, we're in a tougher conference now and we knew it would be tougher" BS. The Houston game will be another heartbreaker I fear. And it all starts with the HC.SMU2007 wrote:I would be very embarrassed knowing we can't even stay on the field against mediocre big 12 teams yet we somehow are in a bcs game?
