so we hire him with a no penalty cut clause in year two. He sweet talks a bunch of great recruits here, and then we just switch to someone else. Why are coaches the only ones that get to jump around like a bunch of harlequins.

Ding, ding. We have a winner. But, in our conference, if we ever got even a top 25 recruiting class we'd most likely win it or at least be in the running (even WITH a terrible Xs and Os guy). Klemm can be his HCIW.

Isn't that the class that now as Seniors just went 9-3 and pasted cross town rival USC?
Wow funny this is brought up, I have a good friend from back home that Coach Rick brought in as a walk on qb to ucla our freshman year of college. Anyways, my friend called me this week and said that Rick took him and a few buddies out to dinner and a major topic was the SMU job and potential vacancy because Rick brought it up at dinner-- Not saying he openly said he wanted the job or anything but he had mentioned it and now theres this, interesting.
