I cringed a bit. We already have a bit of a reputation in the city.

Josh is a good guy with a sense of humor. The incident at Louisville came after the game when the Cardinals lost and were screaming insults at the Tigers and even threw something apparently. Our students weren't as bad, so Josh didn't have as bad a reaction.
One note: winning at Memphis isn't a given - the coach before Cal, Tip Price, really screwed up. It's Cal and Josh who have succeeded on their own. If anybody remembers, his first recruiting class as a coach was ranked #1 in the nation, even besting Cal at Kentucky for a couple of recruits, so any idea he's lived off Cals success is flat wrong. He still has to improve as a floor coach, but basketball needs coaches like him.

Why are you such an apologist for this guy. Is he your cousin?

Everything I've heard about Pastner off the court is that he's a great guy, and he's obviously a good recruiter. Acts like a petulant child during games, though
