if students want to boo a little, that's fine. They're the same age as the kids we're watching. Booing the refs or the opposing coach, I'm fine with that. no need to hassle other fans, though.

EXCEPT: I accidentally spilled a little beer on a guy in front of me when someone bumped me, and you would have thought I spit on him. He acted like a complete a-hole, and even more so when I apologized. I booed him for being a jerk. But he was an SMU fan, so that's ok.

It's not the students booing it's the grown adult fans that boo 18 and 19 year old kids from other schools as they come out on the floor.

My family cheers "S-M-U" while the other team comes on the court. It's our little effort to class up the boo birds.

Good idea.

I don't boo in any sport because I think those that do make themselves look stupid and kind of low rent.

No, he is just trying to be sportsman like. Good to have someone at least try to set a decent example.

I hear what you are saying Junior. But the refs agree grown men not 18 and 19 year old kids. Anyway let's cheer on the Mustangs tonight.

God forbid you all ever venture over to a soccer/football match overseas. Heck, just watching the Manchester derby at a pub in Frisco yesterday left a ring of filth in my ears.

yeah, cheering is much easier.

Except it is one less swig for yourself.

I was just kidding on that cause Coxfans wife got spilled on twice. If you spill apologize. If you spill cause your drunk slow down a little.

Here I am telling people what to do. It's contagious.

I attended an English Football Match several years ago, Manchester United and someone else. My gosh those fans make American fans look polite.
