I would laugh my [deleted] off if the NCAA had to nut up and ban UNC from postseason play for even a year. Their nutjob fan base would flip [deleted]

I read the article and McCants comes off bad to me. He is acting like a victim here. Nobody told him he had to take easy classes or not go to school at all. He chose to do that and now he is ratting out the system that he used! Carolina is no angel here and I am sure they are towing the line pretty close but if McCants was interested in an education, he had a full ride to a very fine university and he CHOSE to take the easy path. Now that the basketball career is over he is looking to cash in with a tell all book. Pretty sorry in my opinion.

Reading his story, I was reminded of David Stanley whining about what SMU "did to him" to Dale Hansen.

But, UNC is at fault.

Wonder how much DOH knew about this whole thing. Sounds like it was going on from Dean Smith through Roy Williams...

If someone like Doh would come out and tell the truth, perhaps this would matter - but with the players coming out - the NCAA will only look the other way...

Me too, plus UNC, Duke, Oklahoma State, Houston, A&M, Notre Dame, UCLA, Kansas, and a lot of others.

But every time I read or see a Roy Williams interview, I feel like I need to be de-loused. The man just oozes sliminess.

Of course, the chance of UNC basketball ever getting punished by the NCAA is about like the chance I'll get punished for burning the toast this morning. Zero chance.
