We, the fans didn't want Muschamp, we want Herman. We already have a good DC that will hopefully be retained since he loves Houston a lot.

Herman will be the next coach for UH. Great hire for UH and great for our conference.

Muschamp is going back to Auburn as the defensive coordinator.

Agree. Live coop but he is convinced G5 teams can't compete. It may be true some day but isn't now. If UH hired Herman, SMU, Tulsa, UH will all be in good shape along with UCF and others.

Congrats landing our 2nd choice...he'll at least be familiar with coming in 2ndto SMU.

He kind of ignored some details of the big picture on that one.
