Larry refuses to use timeouts for any situation in which a normal person would use one. Its the most maddening thing he does.

We ended with 4 timeouts did we not?
3 or 4 for sure.

uh...you can't be serious...being sarcastic right?
the goal-tend was a total and complete BS call
but UCLA did get the rebound
so i think the Cannen turnover was more important
we certainly had our chances

bad pass on Canaan-not particularly good play by Manual either-he should been pretty much where the ball was thrown give or take a few feet

i was being serious, but i now change my mind.
I've read the rule (as posted). I've seen the replays.
I think it was a horrible call now.

Cannen just threw it to nobody in particular. THAT was the last straw that cost us the game, plus horrible free throw shooting. I knew the free throw shooting would eventually get us beat.

Disappointed for SMU - we have regional tickets and were looking forward to SMU in Houston especially with ISU losing today.
Mental errors killed the team at the end of the game.
But it all began with Nic Moore with the ball, a 2 pt lead and 29 seconds to go. He started the play perfectly holding on to the ball, but instead of keeping it and forcing UCLA to foul him, he gives it to Kennedy who promptly takes a jump shot and misses it. That's where the game was lost.

I actually agree with you. Cringed when that happened. Huge error

Looked like the ball was going to hit the rim. Nobody knows now because of Moreira's mistake. I've watched SMU basketball during the season and Yanick Moreira has consistently had brain farts most games. All he had to do was get position for a rebound. Easy to say after the fact, but his history of goal tending mistakes happened again.

See I think when Canaan got the ball on the sideline Manual is supposed to square up into the middle of the Court. No excuse for the bad pass but I'd like to know what Larry draws up in that situation. Why would you want your big guy throwing a pass along the baseline either. I think canaan was throwing to a spot that Manual probably should have been. Manual was streaking away from the passer- a big man-with the ball

Ironic that they subbed Canaan in because he can hit FTs.

Cannan should not be attempting to pass it to RM, RM is our worst FT shooter. If cannan is worried about being trapped he should call time out.

It was like watching the end of a Caven lead SMU football game. Its like we worked our arse off to find a way to lose.
