Dude screwed up. My biggest issue is the way he called it...like some WWE finishing move. He wanted the cameras to catch him making the big call. Sadly, as horrible a call as that was, and as out of position to make that call as he was, he still is better than pretty much anything we have seen all season in the AAC when it comes to officiating.

So keep the fact that the call was wrong and that the idiotic replay rule prevented it from being overturned (which they wouldn't have done, because as was proved in the NFL, a group of officials who made the call are much less likely to overturn their own call in a big situation). Pressure the NCAA rules committee to correct that replay rule. But let's leave the dude alone when it comes to personal crap. That is amateur hour crap. Feel free to taunt him if he officiates another SMU game, but other than that, let it go.
