The spread was already covered. They were only down by 2. SMU -3.5 was the spread I saw.

its been said by several others but the agonizing part is he had the worst vantage point of the 3 officials, and obviously made the call because of pressure from the UCLA bench to call something since he was standing right in front of Alford.
