I was impressed by UH. They have good, athletic players. Had us out of our flow for much of the night. I'm way nervous about the return game at Hoffheinz (sp?)

Great game

What in the hell was the thought behind not fouling for 15 seconds when the play started with 31 seconds down by 4.

That was great. Almost as good was Johnson launching a 3 with 30 seconds left in the first half and the shot clock turned off. Sampson went ballistic.

I'll be at the Houston game on Feb 1. Hope to see you there.

The woman cleaning lice out of my daughter's hair right now is wearing a University of Houston sweatshirt. True story. Reminded me of the game last night. My daughter is a big SMU fan.

Houston can almost certainly be a top 25 team next year in my opinion. I like their mix of transfers and JC guys

Stay tuned on those transfers - some of them not such great citizens. You can get away with that in the middle of nowhere (Waco) but might be tougher in Houston or Dallas.

That said - very impressive play by UH - they deserve a much better reception by the UH community. They are moving up FAST.

Much like us with LB, they're very likely to be on probation with him by then as well.

Thanks for all the kind words about the future of the coogs' program. I surely hope Sampson has learned his lesson when it comes to ncaa violations!

IMO, this was one of the biggest plays of the game. That shot allowed Nic to come down and hit an NBA style iso 15-footer that gave us all the momentum going into the half.

I hope a few scouts saw that play. It was really indicative of just how good Nic is. We know this but the rest of the world doesn't. HE GOOD!
