I was there in person last night. That was our worst win of the season. I don't blame their fans for reacting this way if they haven't watched us extensively this year. Without Semi's performance last night, we would have lost this game.
I miss Troy Matthews.

Most WTF? Comment of the threads (explaining lack of recent student attendance at games):

"Seems like most are not sports fans. Some of it has to do with culture. There were three times as many Asians in the library than there were non Asian students at the USF game. Maybe we need a Ken Jung Day instead of Hooters Birthday."

Who's Ken Jung? Ken Jeong went to Duke and will not be hosting a day at Cosby U.

I have no idea who Ken Jung is - perhaps they are referring to Ken Jong?

But I do think that Ken Jeong night would be a great idea though...

I thought they would at least be impressed with us honoring them with our black uniforms, but maybe they are just a difficult crowd.

We looked pretty rough last night. Can't blame them for having that impression.
That said, we were rough and still won handily.

Rumor is that the rough play was a result of our minds not being in the game. It seems the SMU bus driver looked a lot like the bus driver that drove the Billiken's a few nights ago.

Yes - that story was insane - Don't get on a bus with this woman driving said bus:

Quinton Rose? The Freshman? I remember him from the last game as well - played pretty well and they mentioned he was from Rochester NY - wonder how Syracuse didn't grab him.

Yeah. Him. Part of Temple' problem is no true point guard. Sound familiar?

The little guy they started didn't seem to bring anything to the game. Rose is our kinda guy: long, quick, good eyes.

The Temple fans would have been more respectful if they knew that SMU was honoring West Point last night with the black uniforms.

Watch more ball, comment less. There is no PG in the current AAC as good as Shake or w nearly as high a ceiling. Beyond the numbers, Shake is twice the perimeter defender now, that Nic was as a senior

Nic as soph. 13.6 ppg, 4.9 apg, 2.3 Rpg, 1.5 spg
Shake as soph 13.7 ppg, 4.4 apg, 4.4 Rpg. 1.3 spg

I don't know hoss. Not knocking anyone on the team's play or your opinions but I sat 20 feet from the floor last night and watched 4 different guys performing essentially the same functions at different times last night. If you want to refer to Shake as the best point guard in the conference....fine with me. I guess he IS better at it than the others. Semantics or ummmm.... Hoopmantics!
