Maxey's video from Peach Jam is so impressive. He has incredible range. He is so quick off the dribble and able to get to bucket at will. A shot maker and elite scorer. Another thing I really like is his ability and willingness to initiate contact while driving to the hoop, and he has the strength to finish (very Westbrook /Dennis Smith like) And what is most impressive is he's doing this at 16 years old. Scary good.

Good question about the scholarship although I'm sure the staff's main concern is getting him to pick SMU first and foremost. Tyrese is almost certainly a one-and-done talent.

BTW, his dad Tyrone is a legit coach with a lot of local pull as pointed out in this Michigan St forum thread.
