Jank has had a good year but considering his past few years not sure I want him to stay. Like previously posted it would greatly depend who his replacement would be. Any chance LB returns? ha, one can always dream.

No chance on Larry, would have to figure if we lost Jank, we would go heavy after the UNT coach, but he will have several options open to him to upgrade after this season, we would have to make a really nice offer.

Does Jankovich have any other kids in high school? Michael is a junior walk on at KU so the family would be closer. Of course, Chad Morris left family in Dallas to graduate so that may not matter.

Weber has had three losing seasons in a row at KSU. It's what you've done lately that matters and Jank has a team of the cusp of a tourney bid.

Marquette hired away Shaka Smart and were a conference 5-seed with a 19-13 record. Not an alum but I wonder how happy the Golden Eagles are.

I guess Jank's desire to leave may depend on contract extension discussions.

Why? You want to go back on probation so we can lose scholarships again?

Whether SMU wins the AAC or gets blown out tonight, it's hard to imagine Jankovich leaving. Hope he stays, and that he does as well in the transfer portal this year as he did last year.

Transfer portal success was really all about the Weathers twins and we can attribute that to Coach Cooper

We can do better. Jank can do better than SMU. We’ve gone as far as we’re gonna go with Jank.

The still unanswered question is how far this year's team might go

Frank Martin out at South Carolina. He is only 55 and had a successful 5 year run at KSU before South Carolina hired him away. Have to wonder if they will have any interest in him

I have a hard time seeing Jank at South Carolina.

I think CP is referencing Kansas State wanting Frank Martin back.

Chris Mack is available. Did a great job at Xavier, not so much at Louisville. He will find a home somewhere.

Tim Jankovich is available. Did a helluva job with restrictions at SMU. Players love him and he always seems to have talent.

So Davis, Bandoumel, Clark and Jasey don't matter?
I disagree.

Six seasons….. no NCAA tourney.

Hell of a job.

I was referring to the comment about this season's success. Davis was a huge get and Jasey & Clark have contributed. Should add Nutall to that equation. My point was simply that Jank was fortunate to have Cooper on his staff as the Weathers twins were the "X factor" for this year's team and Cooper was the key to getting them.
