I'll admit that Tulsa, UNT, and UTSA don't bring much to the West. But if you add Navy, Temple, or even Tulane you add more miles for the Pac-4. Would they go for that? Or perhaps those 10 schools should form a new "football only" conference with the other sports remaining in their respective conferences. There is precedent for that and Oliver Luck had a hand in it. Is it significant that Luck and Aresco are meeting so soon after Luck got his new assignment?
