I spent the first 16 yrs of my life in Northern Illinois shoveling snow. Lots of corn and lots of cold weather and snow in Jan & Feb. I bet he'll love it.
Actually high school basketball in Illinois is very big. Great rivalries and hard fought games.
Urbana-Champaign is one of the most boring places that I've visited. UIUC built their library underground so it wouldn't shade a cornfield - that says it all.

Thats a good game. Hope he stays that way too. We need him. Think how many times against ECU Tolbert or MK had loose defense on the hig post/3pt line. He can fill it up and will force defenses to gaurd that

I grew up in Chicago, C-U was colder. Remember the Tom Cruise movie "Risky Business"? "Well University of Illinois, here I come". UI was our fallback school, thank God for SAT's!
