Lurking Brooklynites: A big ole honkin pile of talent has been assembled for this raucous Monkees Tribute Night. The Knuckleheads will be performing our own version of "Gonna Buy Me a Dog," backed by the fabulous Demolition String Band.
"We miss vegging on the couch, tuning in to Nick at Nite and catching Davy Jones doing the Axl (before Axl made it his signature dance) and singing “Daydream Believer.â€

My brother and I will be in NYC in August for an extended sports weekend. With our schedule (listed below), what would be your suggestion for a hotel location?
Saturday 8/23 - arrive, Mets vs. Astros, 7:00p
Sunday 8/24 - possible tour of Yankee Stadium, Noon
Monday 8/25 - US Open Tennis all day
Tuesday 8/26 - day open, Yankees vs. Red Sox, 7:00p (yes, we do have tickets already)
Wednesday 8/27 - open and return that evening.
Thanks in advance.
