Doh has essentially given up on Clinkscales lately (just like he has given up on Harp and Walker at multiple points in the past), but then he puts Clink into the rotation in the second half when momentum is slipping. I just don't see why. If he was trying to work in young players for experience, thats something i would fully appreciate, but thats not the case. Our lineup goes way too small at times and we can't defend the paint. Getting nothing out of the Luttman scholarship is a huge miss when you brought the guy in as a juco and you wont let him off the bench to save his life. Huge miss that Doh has been given a pass on by about everybody. I like the personality of the team for the most part, but i still insist that we should be getting more out of Papa's senior season.
Luttman is a tough call, I sure wish we could have had more (actually, any) production from that Juco spot. Was Doh's call though, he feels more affinity to Harp subbing Dia than Luttman.
Personally would not be my call, Luttman is a big body and a horse...Hell, he could come in, clog up the middle and put welts on the other teams big man when they try and put a shot up.
I certainly hope Miles took advantage of the situation and gets his degree from SMU..He seems like a great guy, always has great energy and enthusiam, I really wish we would have gave him more of a shot. I would lament the fact that he chose the wrong D1 school to get a shot at the big time, but I think we gave him his only offer...so take advantage!
I think it all comes back to Doherty feeling committed to Harp. IMO, this team would have been much better if Luttman would have gotten all those minutes Harp got.
