I think I read he wisely quit due to illness.

More total [deleted] from Ponyboy. Almost the entire year Tulsa had a starting Offensive Line that went 6-5 6-4 6-2 6-4 6-4. As usual he feeding you total [deleted].
I find it interesting that when looking at our OL (I have 13 Players, did I miss anyone?), the biggest fellas out there have zero starts, and of our OL, there is only one Upperclassman (Mitch Enright).
That's amazing, and Scary. I've listed them by size with an emphasis on Height.
J.T. Brooks 6-5 312 OL SO-1L
Will Densmore 6-5 251 OL FR-RS
Sid Nwangwu 6-4 320 OL FR-RS
Josh Emshoff 6-4 268 OL FR-HS
Zach Boyd 6-4 258 OL SO-1L
Josh LeRibeus 6-3 330 OL SO-1L
Kelly Turner 6-3 293 OL SO-1L
Kelvin Beachum 6-3 271 OL SO-1L
Jimmy Chase 6-3 271 OL FR-RS
Jordan Free 6-2 294 OL FR-RS
Bryce Tennison 6-2 276 OL SO-1L
Mitch Enright 6-1 275 OL SR-3L
Blake McJunkin 6-1 263 OL SO-1L
Of these, only Tennison, Enright and McJunkin have significant starting experience. That sets us at Center and One guard. I imagine we'll see something from Densmore and Nwangwu this year, and in two years we should have a good corps of experienced players. But next year... yikes.

Then I guess the Tulsa offensive line nonstarters all go 5'8, 165 because all I did was simple math.

so that's OT, OG, Center and Center with significant starting experience. considering this was one of our better units last year and we might have better depth (SO, FR & RS FR), this is the unit that worries me the least on the team besides WR
Oh so Ponyboy tell me how you know which Tulsa and Rice players are walkons since you obviously included non-starters. I'm sure you included all our walk-ons too so that you were comparing apples to apples. Better yet who in the hell cares if Tulsa has 2 5-11 walkons on their Roster. Didn't know you followed the rosters of Rice and Tulsa so closely that you can predict ahead of time who the starters will be. You are full of crap and will invent ways to make SMU look good if the numbers don't please you. And as for our offensive line being so great-we were dead last in rushing offense last year-did you throw that into your calculations too. If you're satisfied with our opffensive line then you are nuts. Not even close to where we need to be. The freshman class of linemen do look like a step-up to me. Hope they all sit on the bench and redshirt.

You're absolutely right. I must have dropped his numbers when I transferred the list from notepad.
Having an Experienced Left Tackle is invaluable. I wish he were taller, but you play the cards you're dealt. I've always had high hopes for LeRibeus at Guard, I hope that he makes it this season.

Did we attempt a rush last year? [edit] (And before anyone jumps me on this, Yes, we were dead last in AVERAGE per rush as well as total rushing yards. We sucked).

All I did was take our roster, Tulsa's roster, and Rice's roster and do simple math. I'm sorry you don't like the numbers.
so I guess its a good thing Tulsa has a couple of 5-11 walkon offensive lineman and a 6-0 walkon Deep Snapper so you can feel so great about yourself and SMU's Offensive Line. Pull your head out of your [deleted]. Congratulations on drawing stupid conclusions from a flawed factual model.
