Yes, Jones' voice was raised ... because he was 40-50 yards away.

It will be interesting to see what happens this year on that subject.

Once we can show progress, I think Jones will get the attention that his training background deserves and we will see QB skill that we have not had for some time. I have been very much against wasting a red shirt by playing Padron but now I really do not care. If he can either push or rest BLM, then play him. I do not think that McDerrmott, Padron, Bo, or Kaiser are the means to the end. I think they are the bridge to the beginning of the means to the end.

Exsacto!

Not down on Bo. Yes he has thrown INTs that have helped put the other team back in the game, but he has also driven us down the field and scored which put us in the lead in the first place.

We are still young. The whole team has made progress and has helped and hurt us at different times. Will be interesting to see how we play in the second half of the season. They are learning and improving every game.

ding ding ding. There is your answer folks.

Rossely had a lot of talent on the field when he was fired. Cavan lived on Rossely's talent a couple of years until his own ineptitude came out. It's been down hill ever since.

Recruiting history: Cavan did an excellent job of recruiting his first full two years, including NFL quarterback Josh McCown, until one renegade coach named Malin broke some rules and we self flagellated once again and shut down that momentum.

Semi back to topic.  We are 2-1 after three games including an overtime loss at WSU.  We'll most probably be 2-2 and 1-0 in conference heading back into conference play on Oct. 10.   Did anyone expect more wins than that?  Can't we just keep expectations steady?

the easy part of the schedule is now over, at least for five games. if we can survive these five and win the following four we may have a shot at hawaii but this being smu i'm not counting on it. we need to win one of the five. can't cout on winning four straight which the media will remind us has not occurred since the hoover administration.
