Just another perspective on this.
Mitch... You are obviously a psychopath yourself if that is what you got out of reading his blog... Your moniker also boxes you with the notoriously deviant Republican party, a party that suffers from a deviant odor and frequently been exposed.
It came to my mind earlier in your Jones hate rant that you are the type that could be interested in bringing Sandusky to SMU. You hate Jones and seem to like and want to defend Paterno....

Let's face it, Div I coaches have a cult of personality built around them. They all do to succeed. If you question the coach, then it is off with your head.
Forum boards (all forum boards, not just this one) demonstrate this. If an individual questions authority, they are ridiculed. Forum boards provide anonimity (most of the time) which allows for more questioning, but still if you question what the head coach is about...watch out!
Orwell's Animal Farm explains this so well.
Great post-reminds me of all those post basically stating that June Jones should have complete control of the admission process or operating his particular program. Should they have a competitive Model. Yes. Should they abdicate responsibility and institutional control. absolutely not. College Coaches should not be role models-ALL OF THEM have skeltons in the closet and their allegience is to their program-not to the University. There are plenty of coaches who would cut any corner or admit any recruit that could help them win. They are emplyees not administrators and they should always answer to the greater mission of the university. See the sewer that is College Basketball in particular.

Ancient Greek pederasty is well known. Perhaps society hasn't changed that much.

I'm the first to admit that I don't agree with most of the crap that Mitch posts, but I have never thought that Mitch is a Paterno or Sandusky apologist in any way. He may not like JJ, but I think he's still of high moral character. Don't try to disparage him otherwise. It lessens the rest of us as well.

Junior... Junior... I suggest you read or re-read the fellow's blog, then read Mitch's comment, and then read my post. After doing so then come back and tell me how you derived Mitch having "High Moral Character".
The blogger clearly stated his motivation.
My goal in sharing this is to:
1. Help survivors gain more control and fulfillment in their lives.
2. Stop the abuse cycle.
3. Expose Joe Paterno for his true colors.
4. Foster good (honest, selfless, self critical) behaviors vs. evil (selfish, lying, narcissistic) behaviors.
Mitch evidently missed most all that and found no value reaching out to the victims with incite and assistance in the path to survival. Only seeing it as a personal attack on Paterno and Penn and not seeing the value in revealing what really went on in that program.
Regarding the Sandusky comment, maybe a little rough on him, though it may have some merit too. If you feel lessened by my reference to the Republican hierarchy then I suggest you change parties or fix it.
